Dita catches bugs. She probably does it for food. When she was a bit smaller than she was now, she attacked a wasp. When she attacked a small bug, like an ant, she swiped at it with her sharp claws and then it died. She learned this on her own. That's instinct which is different than extinct. Extinct means you used to have instincts.
